Psalm 37:7

“Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for him; do not fret when people succeed in their ways when they carry out their wicked schemes.”

Psalm 37:7 speaks to our souls. Feeling left behind is frustrating, but we all have different timelines and God has a different “perfect time” for different people. Do not worry when you feel like you are stuck. Trust God and His perfect time to get you to what you deserve in life.

David was persecuted by King Saul for no apparent reason. He went through several wars for his kingdom, and he failed when he was tempted. It might be hard to listen to these Bible verses about being still. Sometimes, doing nothing is terrifying. We are so used to the idea that we have to work for everything, even peace. This is not so with God. God knows our limitations, and God will not expect us to accomplish everything all the time. It is okay to pause and be still sometimes because God is there for us.

The Lord knows that there will be battles beyond our abilities. The Lord will fight these battles for us.
