How To Break A Soul Tie

Why is it Important to Know How to Break a Soul Tie

A soul tie can be helpful if it’s a healthy connection, but it can also be harmful in other forms. If you’re in a relationship with someone harsh, for example, you may have a soul tie to them. This can make it difficult to leave the relationship because you feel like you’re attached to them. Breaking the soul tie can help you break free from the abuse and move on with your life

What are soul ties?

A soul tie can either be an emotional or spiritual connection between two people. This soul tie connection can be positive or negative, depending on the circumstances. Ungodly soul ties are often formed in close relationships, such as marriage, family, and close friendships. However, a soul tie can also be formed in abusive or toxic relationships.

How do soul ties form?

Soul ties can form in a variety of ways. Sometimes soul ties are created intentionally, such as when two people pray together or make a commitment to each other. Other times, soul ties may form unintentionally, such as when two people share a traumatic experience.

Signs of Unhealthy Soul Ties

To answer how to break a soul tie or soul ties, we need to know the signs of ungodly soul ties.

Confusion

The first sign of an unhealthy or ungodly soul tie is confusion. This soul tie sign can manifest in several ways, such as feeling like you’re in a fog, not knowing who you are anymore, or feeling lost and confused about your life.

Confusion due to a soul tie can be associated with a loss of identity. This happens when you start to lose yourself in the other person. You may find that you no longer have hobbies or interests outside of the relationship because of soul ties. Your entire life revolves around the other person and you don’t know how to exist without them.

Confusion can even lead to dependency. This means that when you have an ungodly soul tie, you rely on the other person for your emotional needs. You may feel like you can’t function without them and that they are the only ones.

Misery

The next sign of an ungodly soul tie is misery. This soul tie sign can manifest as feeling trapped like you’re in a prison or a cage. You may feel like you can’t escape the relationship, no matter how hard you try.

Ungodly soul ties can make you feel like you’re not good enough. This can lead to feelings of worthlessness. Because of soul ties, you may believe that you deserve the abuse because you’re not worthy of anything better.

Misery then leads to fear. This can manifest as anxiety, worry, and stress. You may be constantly worried about what the other person will do to you or how they will react. Soul ties can cause you to live in fear of their anger or their abuse.

Torment

The final sign of an unhealthy soul tie is torment. Torment caused by soul ties can manifest as nightmares, flashbacks, and intrusive thoughts. You may relive the abuse over and over again in your mind.

A soul tie can make you feel like you’re going crazy. This can lead to feelings of loneliness. You may feel like no one understands what you’re going through or how to help you.

These are just a few of the signs of unhealthy soul ties. If you’re experiencing any of these, it’s important to get help so that you can break free from the soul tie.

Four Phases on How to Break a Soul Tie

How To Break A Soul Tie

Acknowledge

This is when you start to realize that something isn’t right in the relationship. You may feel like you’re not being yourself or that you’re losing yourself to the other person. In this phase, you may start to grieve the loss of the relationship. You may feel sadness, anger, and denial. And that’s okay.

Because we are Christians, it can be very easy to dismiss and invalidate negative emotions. But that is not what God has for us. In the Garden of Gethsemane, Jesus cried out to His Father. Jesus who owns heaven and earth cried out. And so you and I can cry out in this difficult but important process.

Do not rush the process in a break from a soul tie. Submit yourself to God’s process and His ways. Allow Him to minister to your heart as you open your heart in breaking free from ungodly soul ties. See His grace and power come through for you.

Making The Decision

The next step in breaking a soul tie is making the decision. This means deciding to accept and take action. It is only when we decide to accept where we are and the realities of soul ties that we can take the right action.

It starts with accepting that the relationship is over and that you need to let go. This can be a difficult process, but it’s important to remember that you’re not alone. Some people care about you and want to help you through this time.

Once you have decided to accept, then can you take action in breaking some soul ties. This means making the decision to leave the relationship and getting the help you need.

There are many resources available to help you through this process of cutting off soul ties. You can talk to a therapist, join a support group, or read books on the subject.

Forgiveness

In soul ties and any other situation, forgiveness is easier said than done. I agree. But then again, it is not impossible to forgive, by God’s grace. By forgiveness, it is not meant for the other person alone. It also means you will need to forgive yourself too. It might have taken you some time to realize how toxic the relationship tie was and how it has affected your life negatively. So, give yourself some credit for making it this far and forgive yourself.

Unforgiveness will only poison your heart and prevent you from moving on. It will also give the other person power over you.

So, how do you forgive?

The first step is acknowledging that forgiveness is a choice. You have to decide to forgive, even if you don’t feel like it. Just because you forgive someone doesn’t mean they are off the hook for what they did. It just means that you’re choosing not to let their actions control your life anymore and that breaking soul ties is possible

Breaking The Soul Tie

The final step is breaking the soul tie or soul ties. This means leaving the relationship and severing all ties with the other person.

This can be a difficult process, but it’s important to remember that you’re doing it for yourself. You have to remember that this is not what God has planned for you. You deserve to live a life filled with His love and peace and this is one way to achieve that.

There are some ways to make the break. You can block their number, delete them from social media, or even move if necessary.
