16 Powerful Bible Verses About Revival

Bible verses about revival assure us that God values our relationship with Him and always wants to keep it alive and healthy.

Revival is an interesting word. It means to be brought back to its previous stage after a decline. Everything in this world ultimately declines. Our faith and relationship with God are not always exempt from this.

We sometimes reach a point of decline or stagnation in our faith. Though we are not proud of it, it is more common than some think. But, the love of the Lord is powerful enough to revive us.

Bible Verses About Revival

What are Bible Verses about Revival?

When we have been doing something for a very long time, we are prone to think of it as a routine, a normal part of life. We may have been Christian for a long time, and it exposes us to the risk of sometimes forgetting how extraordinary our faith is because it has been a part of our life for so long.

Also, we may be unintentionally committing mistakes after mistakes that take us away from God and strain our relationship with Him. We might be facing different struggles in our faith today. Bible verses about revival are for you. These verses tell us what God can do for us during the years, months, or days when our faith starts to feel different from the first time we have claimed it.

Best Bible Verses about Revival

Bible verses about revival and spiritual awakening

2 Chronicles 7:14

“If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.”

We should always approach God with humility. If we want to ask for forgiveness, we must approach Him with hearts and minds longing for change. With it comes the promise of forgiveness and healing.

Ephesians 5:14

“Therefore He says: “Awake, you who sleep, arise from the dead, and Christ will give you light.”

Sinners are, in a way, dead. They are apart from God, and we believe that there is no life apart from God. We must rise from our sins through the light given by God and awake to a renewed and stronger faith.

Jeremiah 6:16

“Thus says the Lord: stand at the crossroads and look, and ask for the ancient paths, where the good way lies; and walk in it, and find rest for your souls. But they said, “We will not walk in it.”

We are presented with a choice between God and evil every day. We must always choose the path approved by God of hosts because it is the best path anyone could take.

Acts 1:8

“But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”

The growth of the disciples of Jesus Christ is fascinating. They started as ordinary people, failing to understand God’s message repeatedly. They cowed and hid behind doors after His death. But, once the Holy Spirit came upon them, people were shocked at what they could do.

Psalms 19:7

“The law of the Lord is perfect, refreshing the soul. The statutes of the Lord are trustworthy, making wise the simple.”

Psalms 51:10

“Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within me.”

David wrote this psalm after he sinned with Bathsheba. Just like how David managed to change, we can too, and the Lord can revive us if we pray to God to give us better hearts.

John 3:3

“Jesus answered him, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born again he cannot see the kingdom of God.”

Jesus Christ was never stingy when it came to answers. When a Pharisee went to Him, genuinely curious about how to obtain eternal life, Jesus did not hesitate to give him a crash course.

Bible verses about youth revival

Acts 3:19

“Repent, therefore, and turn back, that your sins may be blotted out.”

God is always ready to forgive, but we should strive never to repeat the same mistakes that we do. We should return to who we were and embrace how God can revive us.

Psalms 19:7

“The law of the Lord is perfect, converting the soul; the testimony of the Lord is sure, making wise the simple.”

The power of God’s Word is unfathomable. It can change a person, improve things, and so much more.

Matthew 6:33

“But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.”

Once we learn how to put God first, we will see how great the plans of the Lord are, and it will assure us that God always takes care of His own.
